things such as blaze rods and ghast tears, and likewise nether products can be a challenge to acquire. i was hoping to be able to sell such things

ik that blaze rods are in fact sold in the shops, maybe ghast tears as well. Go to the nether shop in the back right, next to the armor shop

Most likely things like these won't be available in the new shops.
Only blocks, food, tools, armor, and some misc items will be available.
