When people see golems, there is a chance they will grief you to then find out that the golem just kicked their ass but then you find your golem damaged. You get angry, make the decision to kill it, it turns against you and you. just. die. I know what it's like pplz!

When you get griefed because some noob wants them iron ingots, you also have the possibility that your golem died at the same time as the player
which is VERY ANNOYING BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T WORKED AS HARD AS US TO GET THAT IRON and then you see the griefed blocks, i.e a 10 by 10 hole in the wall/floor your ALIVE golem just wonders selflessly outside and you never get it back in. So you kill it in the hope that it will give you some more iron but it kicks your ass intead. Awesome isn't it!
