Scheduled Downtime - Resolved
« on: July 05, 2013, 03:51:15 pm »
As you may have been aware, the server has been playing up in the past day or so.
Rest assured, I am doing all I can to fix the issues, so the server will remain offline until it's resolved.

This shouldn't take more than a few hours.
Thank you for your patience.

This has now been resolved.

Do you think this will fix the horse despawning bug or do we have to wait for Bukkit or 16.2?

The current downtime is result of an issue a little bigger than a bug with horses.  This may or may not fix the horse issue. Hang in there, shouldn't be long now.

Update: It appears a map corruption was doing funny things to the server, hence the constant server crashes and such. Luckily only 15 chunks were corrupt, and I have fixed those. The only people to lose anything will be whoever has built in any of those chunks. If that be the case, go ahead and send me a private message, and I will provide a decent compensation for you.

Right now, the fixed map is being uploaded to the server, and I'm unsure as how long that will take. I understand this is rather new, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask them below. Please only answer questions below if you're confident that your answer is correct, I don't want false information being spread.

Once again, thank you for your patience.

I'm not sure when your 'tomorrow' is, so it's hard to say. How many hours did you have in mind?
I don't like making estimates when it comes to uploading files, but I can give you a yes or no I guess.

I was wondering why I wasn't able to go on. I was sitting there going, "What the heck?" When it kept saying "Can't Reach Server" even after I restarted my computer.

fixed map? Do you mean updated map so horses can spawn naturally and don't despawn?? Sorry I'm really desperate for horses that won't despawn!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
The fix was for the corruption of the map, I'm not quite sure how this will affect horses, or if this was even the cause of horses disappearing.
