Newb question alert!!

So ok... was watching a tutorial on a build I'm wanting to work on and noticed the textures on there are so crisp and nice. It led me to ask...

TEXTURE PACKS: Is that a server side concern(servers only can use 'em), or is it client side? If it's client side (aka, only affects my game play and not others).... what's the server ruling on downloading them?

if its not kosher on using them, no worries. Curiosity is all...

Texture packs are all client side. We have no rules on using texture packs, so knock yourself out.

But, you can't use the X-ray Pack, Which i don't Think you would Do.

Where's the fun in Xray? o.O I wouldn't have as much fun dropping into lava pits if I could see em coming! but good to know about the texture packs ^_^
