Hey guys! There have been some fairly significant changes to both the server and the forum which I thought I'd announce.
Forum Facelift:The first and most obvious of changes is the website theme. We were long overdue for a facelift, so I hope you enjoy the new theme we have running.
Most things are similar to our old theme, so it shouldn't take much getting used to.
New Market:We now have a shop located in the Member World where you buy and sell items.
It functions the same as the old shops, but simply adds some new blocks to buy. Some notable blocks being beacons, stained glass, and stained clay.
New blocks will be added in future Minecraft updates. To get there, type
/Market. Huge thanks to TTLego for doing an amazing job on the building, as always!
New Worlds:As well as the Member World receiving it's own shops, it has also been linked to both a new Nether and End world.
Getting to the Member Nether is the same, with a few twists. Because of the limitations with multiple worlds, there are a few less features than the old Nether. Such as, when you create a portal in the Member World to enter the Member Nether, there will be no 'exit portal' when you reach the Nether. This can be solved by manually creating a portal in the place you are teleported, this will then link the 2 portals together. I'm sorry about this, but it's just how the mechanics of the plugin work.
The End is more simple, type
/TheEndMember to get there. And type
/TheEndGuest to get to the Guest End world. The Ender Dragon will also spawn in the Member End.
Improved Voting:The voting system has taken a little step forward in terms of rewards. A whole new kind of reward system has been implemented, and it's called
'Vote Points'.
This was an idea suggested by a few people, and I've decided to add it due to people really liking the idea.
How it works:
Every time you vote, you are rewarded with 1 vote point. Check your total vote points by typing
/votepointsYou can save up these points and spend them in their own 'Vote Store'. Access this by typing
/votestoreYou can buy the items in the store by typing
/votestore buy [ID] (ID's are located to the very left of each line)
These items are more or less just placeholders for now, but I will be adding and tweaking the items and prices.
