its just the time, people would build with obsidian if it wasn't as time consuming to get

Just note obsidian and quartz will both me in the new market also. There's not gonna be a lot of blocks that aren't in the new market and the current shops.

How about enchanted items and books, if you don't have a decent xp farm it tends to be difficult to obtain the levels.
