As seen as rare blocks, how about moving the player / mob heads to the voting shop? Seen as not a vanilla obtainable item, wouldn't it make sense to add these as a sense of achievement ? Plus, been discussed alot before, but more of a high end priced object, but what about a nether star, know these are controversial, but would be better than a Beacon as then, people have the star to do as they wish with it, e.g item frames etc. Along with the idea of sponge protection, I know alot of people don't have the money to purchase the sponge in the shops, if people were to vote enough times, this would give them another way to try and achieve the sponge, along with buying it in the shop.

The next part is what you guys would like to see in the vote store.
As it stands now, you would get 1 point per vote, and there would be a list of about 10 or so items to buy ranging from 1 to 40 points (numbers will probably change)

So lemme know of what you'd like!

Was referring to the beacon being in the shops, not the shops themselves.
And the highest price something will be is around 200 points. I'm not that mean.

its a block that you place on a pyramid of either iron, diamond, emerald, or gold blocks and it gives you certain potion effects, you can onnly choose one but a top teir beacon allows for either the second stage of the selected potion effect for the potion effect and regeneration, the only ones you can get are: speed, strength, jump boost, haste, resistance, and regeneration all of which except for regeneration you can get the second stage (speed 2 and so on)

Just a small update before any of the new features arrive, and before I make a news post:
At this time, when you vote you'll receive $1000 as well as 1 diamond. You can vote offline and receive the money, but not the diamond, just a heads up.
This will be more fleshed out later, but I thought I'd get that done while you guys wait for the points thing.

The next update will probably be some time, as it will take some coding to do.
Keep the suggestions coming though, I'm always up for new ideas!

i was thinking and i think nether quartz (ore) and obsidian should be in the points shop, they are very hard to get...

Obsidian isn't hard to get or find, it just takes time to get. Quartz would be nice though
