A monumental step for internet freedom happened today.

Below is a link to an article that speaks about the most important FCC decision of the past two decades. Today (2/24/15) at 12:00am the FCC voted on net neutrality and chose through a dangerously close vote of 3-2, to not only enforce net neutrality as a requirement, they also reclassified the internet into a Title 2 status (so its like water and power now). What does this mean? This means that now all data is to be treated equally regardless of the type, reclassifing the internet as a utility will also allow for the FCC to control internet providers much more effectively meanjng that the two most hated companies in the United States can no longer hold on to their monopolies which translates to more competition thus cheaper and faster internet.
