General Discussion / How to change your game version in the new launcher

Everyone,

This is how to change your game version in the new launcher.  I'm posting this because the game has now launched 1.6.2. So, here's what you do.

1: launch your minecraft.

2: Click "Edit Profile"


3: Click the drop down arrow next to Use Version.


4: Select release 1.6.1

5: Click save profile.


6: PLAY!

What is the current state of the project? And what are your plans for its future, if any:
   Early phase. The plan is to have a big neighborhood with nice houses for everyone to live in.

Why should your project be granted project protection?
 I know with moosington existing this is kinda a repeat project...but... I like to build towns and I don't want the hassle of griefers destroying them. Its going to be a lot of builds to keep my eyes on if there is no protection.

Introductions / i've never played minecraft before. ever.

Ok here goes.  I'm Jim, I'm 27, I'm married, I live in Pennsylvania, I love to camp, fish, hunt, paintball, airsoft, ski, and of course...minecraft. I have a full time job as a network engineer for a university.  I've been playing minecraft since beta 1.2 and my how the times have changed. 

I come to you from a server known as something super awesome. On that server i made some friends like crichton aka devoncwoodcomb, and kt43824932turtle and figured i'd go back to where those guys came from and fell in love with the server.  So i'm here to stay.  I can help whoever has questions because i practically memorized minecraft wiki...which is very sad.
