If I have a build that is half finished, and that was originally not for the build contest, can I finish it and enter in the contest anyway? Or does it have to be an entirely new build specifically for this competition?

Its been a while since there has been a server build competition, maybe we could just make up a build theme and have people build for a prize?

Still down, been 5+ minutes.. my guess would be something going wrong with the server host or maybe a plugin?

At 2 oclock today (Eastern Time) the server started crashing, but now its been a few minutes and the server is still down. I have no idea whats causing it... Nothing obvious in game seemed to messing with it.

Me, Lissy, and Echo_Matty were discussing it yesterday, and we all have slightly different opinions on it. Personally, I agree that the sell prices of some items could use some tweeking. Right now, in terms of making profit by selling materials, mining is by far the most effective way to do this, because for the amount of work you put in to find Iron and Gold ore, you get the most money out of it. But I think other ways of making profit should be viable for people who dont really enjoying mining as much. I would propose keeping the sell price of Iron and Ore the same, but increasing the sell prices of things like wood, quartz, etc. I also would increase the sell prices of basic materials like dirt and stone - not enough to make a big profit off of, but as it stands its not even worth the effort selling those things because of how little they sell. Iron is by far the most profitable item, and Im okay with that. If we could increase the sell price of many of the other items, however, it wouldnt be quite as stacked. All that being said, a lot of people dont really like using the shop, and I think it stands okay were it is. I would probably rather encourage player trading and interaction rather than forcing player reliance on the shop, but if you want to build something that requires material you couldn't get otherwise, thats when the shop serves its purpose. If the shop stays the same, Im perfectly fine with it.

Age: 17 Location: Massachusetts, United States (East Coast) Timezone: Eastern Standard Time Join Date: December 2012 Were you recommended by any staff members?:Curret, Altus Tobieias Why you should become a moderator: Ive been a long time member of the server, and although I have been on and off I always have loved the DKcraft community and all the wonderful people who play on this server. I would love to be able to actively make the community better through being a moderator, and I think my experience of being a part of the community for so long would help me be an effective staff member. As a moderator I would make sure that everyone who plays on the server can have fun together no matter who they are. I joke around a lot, but when it comes to honest decision making I am always responsible when it involves the well being of others and I would never abuse being a moderator for my own purposes. I hope you will consider me

Hey everyone, its been a while! A really long while.. Id like to become active on the server again, when I can, because I miss you guys <3 Im reviving this crusty old topic because I would like to start picture commissions again, with some new rules-
If you would like, you can get a FREE sketch commission of a mine craft character (this means it will be rough and only in black and white)
If you want a full picture (examples are found throughout this thread), the cost of 20 diamonds still applies.
You can inquire either on this topic, or whisper me in game. And yes, staff (if you havnt already got one) gets a free full picture commission. The time it takes me to complete pictures varies depending on my schedule, so be patient! Rules about having character skins and such are layed out earlier in the thread, but just ask me about it if your not sure. Ive improved a teeny-weeny bit hopefully so the quality of the images should be better all around. Have fun!
