Title: Two suggestions...

#1: Trading: Should we make a trading machine with redstone or should me add the trading plugin??? Reply to choose.




#2 Spawners: We should add monster spawners in the shop. The spawners will cost a lot since they can make you money with the spawners. Or maybe just put the spawners in the "donate" section.

The spawners sound like a good idea for the shops, but how much are you talking about for it?
I'm not too sure about the plugin.
I could make the trading system if I have access to spawn I could make a trading room with trading redstone all I'd need are a few stuff like redstone repeaters and a few more stuff for it.
Just contact me if you want the trading system.

But can't everyone just drop stuff and trade with it.

I mean we can always put spawners in shop. How will we do it??? we can do /give <name> <amount> 52:90 for a pig spawner. so we will need no plugin.
The cons of this we will not be able to get it back when mined so put it well. and we will need a plugin to mine it.

We would need the plugin to mine it, I think the server has enough of plugins but it's still a really good idea.
I think you should have a spawner shop in /warp shops maybe it's a good idea or not I don't know I'm new to the server.

Don't worry too much about how things gets implemented, I can easily work that stuff out. As for the suggestions themselves, 2 fairly reasonable requests I'd have to think about.
I think the way trading works now as vanilla works fine. I don't think I've ever come across a situation where someone has been scammed or a trade has gone sour.
As for the mob spawners, I don't really want to give players access to these due to the fact they can spawn an unlimited amount of mobs, which can be bad for the fairness of the game, as well as the lag it can potentially cause the server.

Someone could spawn a creeper spawner in someone's house then that house is gone. That's the problem with the spawners. I see at least 1 reason wrong with the trading system

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but creeper explosions do not do any block damage.

If you were to teleport away from the chunk, the mobs would despawn. Unless they're holding/wearing an item.


Talking about the actual suggestion though; I would prefer the server be kept as it is. As in no purchasable spawners, or even donated ones. This is pretty much a vanilla server, and we've never had spawners before and we've done fine without the option to buy them for years. There's something in which I like about only having access to naturally generated ones.
