Hey guys. So me and deekay (along with whoever else agrees) think something else aside from 3 diamonds should be given to you guys per VOTE Now we have a few ideas but it would be lovely to hear what you guys think should be given to you for voting on the server.
Post your ideas, and we will see, maybe you will get what you want ;)

Animal products like leather or meats since some people have trouble getting some..?
Otherwise Iron or something.

Maybe if you vote for all 3 and only all 3 you can receive a dollar towards spending on the forum! But make the time for next voting longer so people dont just sit there every hour and vote and end up with a ton of the money for the forum.

Maybe it could be an item of our choice, except it cant be gold iron or diamond blocks. It could be a nether star so we can make beacons.

Yes^^^ We can make it stuff that you can't find or is very rare to find. Like emeralds, eggs, nether star, and other rare items.

I have seen something where you get 1 CREDIT everytime you vote (1 per site) If you save up enough credits you can buy Rare items like nether Stars or something like that.
In game money is also another option.

I like the idea of credits, maybe have them awarded to the top voters and then set up a credit shop similar to the donation shop?

I do like the "credit" idea, but give it to everyone, not just the top voters, and a credit store would be cool.

Never had any quartz before .-. That'd be cool, accessing new building blocks for myself to use. But also, the credit idea is pretty decent. I like that idea. :D

I like getting a little cash along with each vote. Perhaps when someone has voted for all three that have votifier or whatever its called they get thrown into a random drawing for a rare item (spawn egg, emerald, nether star, skulls, maybe a dragon egg maaaaybe, maybe lilypads cause as far as I know those don't grow so they kinda have a set number, to name a few).
I also like the idea of some sort of credit system for top voters every month, but could we make it so they can't get top voter consecutively

Why not, in simple terms, make it like a lottery system?
Each vote you get a random item (minus water buckets, end portals, ice, and flint and steal sort of things) from all the items available on minecraft. That way you get a 1/127 chance (yes I counted) of getting something a bit rarer with each vote. That way you can also boost voting a bit better, too.

I think the fact of getting diamonds when people vote are good. However, you could give people
three Diamonds and say 200 Dollars? Perhaps that bundle would persuade people more?
And the user gets 10 Exp?

That lottery idea seems rad! But you should maybe get the random item alongside the original single diamond?

Well, I think that the diamonds you get from voting are different from the diamonds you get from mining ore. The diamonds you get from voting can only be used to craft, while you can sell the diamonds you can get from ores...
only saying this 'cause I have tons of diamonds I need to sell, sorry if it's a dumb idea xD

Just a little update, I have added a plugin called GAListener which provides a lot more features when it comes to voting.
Right now, you'll still only get 1 diamond, but the plugin allows 'lucky votes' which gives you a random chance to receive something extra (like some of you have suggested)
The plugin is supposed to allow you to vote offline and reward you next time you're online, but that seems to be broken right now, but I'm working on it.

I really like the Idea where you get donation money from voting, BUT it should be something kind of low, like, say, 20p in donation money every time you vote, so that players cannot immediately get a ton of cash :D

Is it possible to incorporate a second form of currency? like tokens. the more you vote the more tokens you get. these tokens can then be used in another store which would have these special items. I'm talkin like spawn eggs, diamond blocks, sponges, and yes. beacons.

i keep seeing people say "Tokens" or "Credits", ive seen a plugin called "RewardTokens" they are exactly what people have been asking but you spend them in a virtual shop! "/rt shop" its a great plugin and customising the shop would be cool!
(Adding silk touch/beacons/enchants/even lvls!)

Make a wheel that you can spin every week! Prizes can include diamonds, in-game money, money for the donation store, and of course a dud item. ;D

Maybe nametags or horse armor. I notice that alot of people are wanting that sort of stuff now.
