From what I understand, mobs will still attack and try to kill you but PvP will also be added

I can imagine someone just waiting for an enderman to kill someone and steal their loot just like that. Or will keepinv be on in the end?

PvE is not being removed PVP is just being added, it will be exactly the same just you can attack players
