Let's say I made/found a mod that did something reeeaaally tiny such as fix a bug or something else like select which painting you want to place. Would that be allowed?

The rules are rather clear: no mods except for optifine, even then its debatable because optifine has that zoom feature.
I don't see how zooming would be debatable as it only enlarges the pixels and does not actually move the camera.
It gives players with it an advantage even if it's a small one.

Offtopic / A monumental step for internet freedom happened today.

Below is a link to an article that speaks about the most important FCC decision of the past two decades. Today (2/24/15) at 12:00am the FCC voted on net neutrality and chose through a dangerously close vote of 3-2, to not only enforce net neutrality as a requirement, they also reclassified the internet into a Title 2 status (so its like water and power now). What does this mean? This means that now all data is to be treated equally regardless of the type, reclassifing the internet as a utility will also allow for the FCC to control internet providers much more effectively meanjng that the two most hated companies in the United States can no longer hold on to their monopolies which translates to more competition thus cheaper and faster internet. Here's the article: http://www.engadget.com/2015/02/26/fcc-net-neutrality/

I wish I could get on, then I could afford buying a drawing of deekay in a cowboy hat, boots, and a thong whilst dancing around a stripper pole (I'm reffering to something from a few weeks ago).

I did find a auto chicken farm going at delusion's home, there were 700 entities, and after i killed most of them... the server stopped crashing...
The unfortunate side to auto chicken farms happens when people leave them running too long, mine hit about 100 - 150 at most...

Edit 2: AltusClara thinks he found the cause, near my house are a shopping 700 entities in a very small space. The owner of the plot is delusion_hunter but I don't think he/she has any malicious intent with these density mob farms.

Although I have no problem with mob farms (I use them myself) I say we should set up a limit for how many mobs can be in a chunk maybe 100 at most, im guessing its not possible...

This actually comes as a surprise, I thought that the switch to UUIDs would avoid this issue...
It would have if the plugins we were using were updated for such a change.
Ah, that's quite unfortunate, at least there's a way around it until it gets patched

You can craft cracked and mossy brick now. The recepies are as follow:

Cracked stone brick: normal stone brick in a furnace yeilds one to one.

Mossy stone brick: normal stone brick + one vine yields one mossy stone brick

Chiseled stone brick: two stone brick slabs on top of each other in a crafting table yields one chisled stone brick for every two slabs.
