Title: Server temporarily down?

I was wondering if the server was down because why I try to go on it, at first, it said it was updated only up to 1.3 and then it said I just couldn't connect. Is this a problem with my computer or something else?

And of course, I make this and then go back to the homepage where it says 'Minecraft Status: Offline'. Sorry about that guys.
