Title: more iconomy or something
Post by: 100findme on July 10, 2012, 02:35:38 pm
On another server that i was on they gave the players the ability to /sell hand. This was very useful to get money or just clear your inventory of things you didn't want or need but not just throw them away.

you can get more money by just mining things. or if you dont want to do that you can get the plugin jobs where people can chose a job. for example, miners, if they mine certain blocks they get so much money, but if they place a block they loose some money. here is a useful youtube vid by samiko and xtorrent (woopagaming) on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCqJ7vd4PIE

I personally hate it when servers only rely on that. I like that I can look at a sign that tells me how much to sell for how much money. I guess it's just he way I process things. I know that I would eventually get confused if the server had that.

plus da shopz is perty. ^.^

I admit it would be nice to have shop commands in addition to the shop. Selling several stacks of gold ingots 1 at a time is a bit tedious =p

well there is a command /worth that tells you the value of an item. i personally like the fact that you dont have to go all the way to the store to sell something. It's much more convienent to just type a command to sell it. plus you can sell in different quantities and not just in a stack of 64; so if you have a stack of 64 and you want to keep half of it for tools then you can type /sell <item name> 32. or however much you want to sell. or just type /sell hand which sells all of that kind of item in your hand that is in your inventory.
Just something to think about you know.
