Recently (yesterday) i had an argument with Lissy on whether or not Automatic farms are legit i just want to know everyone's opinion on these type of farms, personally i believe they are legit because collecting the resources especially the gold farms takes a lot of time and effort to do.

Hide the sponges? Even if they attempt to break something it won't break... Unless it's a non-solid block e.g. flower
were discussing the sponges being such a nuisance on builds as it never fits with anything

its not necessarily the sponge material itself or what it looks like, its just a pain to figure out where to put them so they arnt visible. And while the sponge system isn't perfect, I don't think it really needs to be ditched. It could use some improvement though.. are there any other solutions to having ugly blocks stick out around your build? Also, wouldnt you just forget where you placed your sponge if you made it invisible?

Yeah, that would be a good idea if every other block wasn't craftable or obtainable.
why not just trash the entire sponge system, there are other forms of protection that when handled and implemented correctly often exceed the sponge without having to place a block, Ex, there's a plugin that lets a player choose a certain region and protect it but its limited to a certain number of blocks say the base number where you can start is 1000 by either donating to the server or buying it at the /shops you can increase the amount of protection you could set, after a quick Google search i believe to have to have found what im talking about: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/

I personally believe the sponges should protect the same 13 by 13 but its vertical height increased, for 8000$ is not much of a good performance vs price ratio, it would be nice to have a better looking block, sponge in its own is a bad looking block that never really goes good with anything

After having a conversation with Mahoose, i have decided to open this project to members+ the risk of players with malicious intentions is great and a threat to not only the central building but to the surrounding area as any darkened caves have the potential to severely lower the spawning rates of the farm. Having protection on this project that is intended to help any willing players with the rank of Member and above obtain raw materials to potions as well as a steady supply of glowstone without putting the farm at risk. Why you should become a moderator: I am a very active player, responsible, nice though I can be strict during moments playing on the server for long periods does have moments were a player is being griefed and with no staff on nothing can be done, this being said if not myself I would like to see more staff on the server, I will admit I can be immature but i can get around this easily. If I were to get accepted, I would take my position very seriously and try to keep peace and order on the server, while at the same time as logic would have it continue to work on my current projects as well as helping players when the time comes.

Deekay :0 Do you not call them soda?
I pretty much call each soft beverage by its name.... (coke, pepsi, root beer, sprite, etc) but when referring to them as a whole, I say soda.
